Unai Emery head cannot be turned by Bayern Munich, he won’t quit Aston Villa for any sum of money

Unai Emery has signed a new contract with Aston Villa and Ty Bracey believes this will be enough to scare off anyone interested in the Spaniard.

On Tuesday (24 April) the club announced via their official website, that the manager had signed a three-year extension at Villa Park.

This has come off the back of an excellent 18 months where the Villa have gone from being threatened by relegation in the Premier League to Champions League qualification contenders.

His success in the Premier League has seen interest from elite sides like Bayern Munich [BILD] but Bracey doesn’t believe his head will be turned.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “I think it’s a massive sign of intent and it puts it out there that Unai Emery is not available, he is with Aston Villa for the foreseeable.

“There’s many factors but he pretty much has the keys to Villa at the minute. He’s the brains to the success on the field and he’s getting everything right.

“I don’t think anyone will come in for him at all now with him signing a new deal. That should put the cards out to say he’s not available.

“I don’t think we see him going anywhere. I don’t think any amount of money could tempt them to get rid of him. He’s the man to lead Villa forward and that’s priceless. No amount of money could sway him away from Villa Park.”

Could Unai Emery leave Aston Villa?

Since his move from Villareal, Emery has done so much right which means there is no surprise linked him away to elite sides.

Not only have Villa risen up the Premier League, but they have also performed well on the European stage. This has seen them reach a first semi-final since 1982 in the Conference League.

The Spaniard has transformed the Villans’ fortunes while improving many individual players for the team’s benefit.

Ollie Watkins has become one of the most complete forwards in the league, similarly for Leon Bailey. Douglas Luiz and John McGinn have become recognised on a wider scale for their performances and now Emi Martinez is a World Cup winner.

There has been lots of success on the pitch which has been rewarded off the pitch. Emery has all his own staff and hierarchy while the club now have shares in Real Union, owned by the manager.

Villa owe a lot to the Spaniard and he has been rewarded with, as Bracey puts it, “the keys to Villa” which will keep him in B6.
