Ex-Aston Villa Scout speculates £1million Keilan Quinn contract amid West Brom transfer news

Aston Villa may have contract commitments to fill in the £1million signature of Keilan Quinn from West Brom, according to former Villa Park scout Bryan King.

The verdict comes after the youngster took to social media on Wednesday (13 March) to announce his move to the Premier League club.

The Athletic (1 February) reported that a £1million fee had been agreed between the clubs with plans for a transfer next season.

Speaking to Villa News, King said: “I think it’s the order of the day to be honest. There were two players who went from Brighton to Chelsea, and I think that’s still an ongoing case, the fee will be somewhere between £600,000 and £1million for those.

“It might be £1million if he fulfils all the criteria that is going to be put into the contract. But then again West Brom are doing well, there’s a chance of them getting back into the Premier League.”

Villa have built a really talented squad under Unai Emery, with the Midlands club flying high in the Premier League and the Europa Conference League thanks to their long list of top-class players.

There are many senior players leading the way, such as captain John McGinn and star striker Ollie Watkins.

But Emery has also shown faith in youth, with Morgan Rogers recently joining the likes of Jacob Ramsey and Tim Iroegbunam at Villa Park.

In other Aston Villa news, King has mooted a senior star exit at Villa Park, with an Arsenal transfer claim made.
