Aston Villa former employee moots Ollie Watkins exit as Arsenal transfer claim made
Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins could be tempted by a move to Arsenal, according to former Villa Park scout Bryan King.
The striker has been in superb form this season, keeping the pace with the likes of Manchester City star Erling Haaland in terms of goals.
King has speculated talk of a move for Watkins to Premier League rivals Arsenal, with Villa set to be happy that there is such interest in their main men.
Speaking to Villa News, King said: “There has already been talk of a move to Arsenal. I think anyone would be tempted by that.
“But it’s also good for Villa that the big clubs are looking at their players, which means that they are performing at the highest level.”
Can Aston Villa afford to lose Ollie Watkins?
It is, of course, a good thing for the Midlands outfit that their star men are attracting interest, which proves how far the club have come in recent times.
But it is also very dangerous for Emery, with losing a striker like Watkins undoubtedly one of the last things on his mind.

The England ace has been on fire in all competitions, with his goals and assists helping Villa compete at the top end of the Premier League and in the latter stages of the Europa Conference League.
