Aston Villa: Ty Bracey reacts to Nicolo Zaniolo permanent deal reports at Villa Park
Aston Villa need players who are committed to playing for the club after news has emerged on Nicolo Zaniolo, according to Ty Bracey.
Gazetta dello Sport reported on its website on 19 February that the 24-year-old wants to return to Italy, with Fiorentina, Juventus and AC Milan plotting a move for him once his loan deal with Villa expires at the end of the season.
It added that the Italy international is unlikely to make his move to Villa Park permanent despite the club holding an option-to-buy clause with Galatasaray for the attacking midfielder.
Bracey will be happy for Zaniolo to leave the Villans at the end of the campaign as long as he performs his best for the club over the next few months, having scored two goals in 27 appearances this season.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “If he wants to go home and go back to playing football in Italy, then best of luck to him.
“We need people who are happy playing in the Premier League and playing for this club. I think that’s massively important.

“If his mind is elsewhere, as long as we get the best from him for the rest of this season, then I’ll be happy.
“But if when the transfer window reopens and he wants to sail away from Galatasaray, then fair play to him.”
Nicolo Zaniolo has struggled to adapt at Aston Villa
There have been flashes from Zaniolo to suggest that he is a good player, but he simply hasn’t shown enough during his loan spell with Villa.
The Italian arrived from Galatasaray with a big reputation, having scored five goals in just 12 games for the Turkish side last year.
But the Premier League is a completely different animal and, despite making 27 appearances this season, the attacking midfielder’s time so far at Villa Park has been largely forgettable.
