Manchester United update ‘good news’ for Aston Villa ahead of Nottingham Forest
Aston Villa have been handed a boost ahead of their game against Nottingham Forest following the injury suffered by Rasmus Hojlund, according to Ty Bracey.
Sky Sports reported on its website on Friday (23 February) that the Manchester United forward, who scored against Villa in his side’s 2-1 victory on 11 February, will miss the next two-to-three-weeks with a muscle injury.
It comes as Unai Emery prepares his side to take on Forest at Villa Park on Saturday (24 February), where they will be hoping to strengthen their Champions League hopes as they battle it out with the Red Devils and Tottenham for a top-four spot.
Bracey believes the East Midlands club are going to be “up for it” when they make the trip to Birmingham as they currently find themselves just four points above the Premier League relegation zone.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “I wouldn’t expect any changes, it will probably stay as it was on the weekend.
“As we know, Forest are no pushover. We lost to them at their ground, but it’s important we get three points.
“Manchester United are hot on our tails, but not quite as much as Spurs. Obviously, the news of Hojlund having a two-to-three-week muscle injury came out yesterday, that’s good news for us.

“If you look at Spurs’ last five fixtures in the league and what Man United have got coming up, it’s really tough.
“Forest are fighting for survival, they’re only four points above the drop zone.
“They are going to be up for it, it’s going to be a good slog at Villa Park.”
Aston Villa eager get back to winning ways at Villa Park
A major part of the success Villa have achieved under Emery has been due to their impressive home record since the Spaniard took over.
But they have lost their way a little bit at Villa Park in recent weeks, having failed to win in their past three home matches.
The Villans boss will know the importance of getting back to winning ways on their home turf as Forest will be looking to ensure that doesn’t happen in their bid to beat the drop this season.
