Bryan King makes prediction on Aston Villa-linked FC Copenhagen sensation Roony Bardghji
Villa News is delighted to welcome aboard our brilliant new columnist Bryan King, the former goalkeeper who spent over 10 years as a scout at Aston Villa and 28 years in total in first-team scouting roles. Bryan also spent six years on Tottenham’s recruitment team and eight years scouting at Everton…
Former Aston Villa Scout Bryan King believes it would take a lot of money for a club to sign FC Copenhagen winger Roony Bardghji this month.
The prediction comes amid the recent news that the Villa Park club have shown an interest in the 18-year-old attacker.
The Sweden Under-21 international has 11 goals from 30 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring against Manchester United in the Champions League group stages.
Speaking to Villa News, King said: “He’s in Portugal at the moment with Copenhagen, they’re playing in the Atlantic Cup tournament.
“I think he’ll sit tight, because they’re still in the Champions League. If anything is going to happen in the next few days, it’s going to take a lot of money.

“I would think there will be one or two bigger clubs interested, if they’ve got their finances sorted out. I know Manchester City have been following him closely, Manchester United have followed him very closely. Bayern Munich also. He turned in two good performances against both Bayern Munich and Manchester United.”
