Jhon Duran needs to exit Aston Villa for ‘wonderkid’ Roony Bardghji to make Villa Park transfer

We’re delighted to welcome Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey as our exclusive Aston Villa columnist each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the club…

Jhon Duran would have to leave Aston Villa for the club to be able to sign Copenhagen forward Roony Bardghji, according to Ty Bracey.

News outlet HITC reported on its website on 9 January that Villa are one of a number of Premier League clubs interested in the 18-year-old, who it described as a “wonderkid”.

The Swedish U-21 international caught the eye when he scored the winning goal for the Danish side in the Champions League against Manchester United in November, having registered 10 strikes so far this season.

Bracey would welcome a move for the promising teenager as he suggested he could be ready to come in and play a role in the team following his experience in Denmark.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “I think it’s a one-in-one-out policy at the moment.

“So if it’s not working with Duran and they want a similar calibre of player with a better attitude then, by all means, go for it.

“There’s no harm in us going for players for the future. But at the same time, we need to think about now and next season.

“But if we’re scouting players that are playing at that level of football, then they’re going to be ready aren’t they, so I’m all for it.”
