Aston Villa transfer news as £7.8m deal struck for Red Star Belgrade ace Kosta Nedeljkovic – Sky Sports
Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Red Star Belgrade for right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic, according to Sky Sports.
The news outlet reported via its transfer blog on Tuesday [16 January, 1:25pm] that Nedeljkovic will cost the Villans £7.8million (€9m).
Nedeljkovic has represented Serbia at Under-18 and Under-19 level and has played 18 times for Serbian SuperLiga heavyweights Red Star.

That includes four appearances in the Champions League group stage earlier this season, including a start against Manchester City.
The Sky Sports report adds that Villa are also in the market for a new winger before the window closes, with Lazio’s Felipe Anderson a target.
Up and running
Villa have enjoyed a season to remember under the impressive Unai Emery, but the Spaniard wants to continue pushing the club on.
Being third in the Premier League and through to the knockout stages of the Europa Conference League is not enough for the demanding coach.
That is exactly the type of attitude that is required, and hopefully a new signing or two this month will help propel the club to even higher levels.

Not a great deal is known about Nedeljkovic, but he is clearly a talent if he is already playing in the Champions League at such a young age.
Matty Cash has played 18 times at right-back for Villa in the Premier League this season, while Emery has also used others in that position.
This signing not only provides competition and cover for the rest of this season, but also for the next two, three four or maybe even more years.
It is a good piece of business on the face of it, and hopefully the first of at least a couple of signings before the 1 February deadline.
In other Aston Villa news, Roy Keane has tipped a Villans player with a move to Manchester City.
