Ex-Aston Villa Scout predicts result of Premier League clash v Everton
Villa News is delighted to welcome aboard our brilliant new columnist Bryan King, the former goalkeeper who spent over 10 years as a scout at Aston Villa and 28 years in total in first-team scouting roles. Bryan also spent six years on Tottenham’s recruitment team and eight years scouting at Everton…
Bryan King has predicted the result of the upcoming Premier League encounter between Aston Villa and Everton.
The Toffees welcome Aston Villa to Goodison Park on Sunday (14 January) as they look to climb back up the Premier League table.
Sean Dyche’s men currently have 16 points to their name, with Unai Emery’s side on 42, with both having played 20 matches.

Speaking to Villa News, King said: “I think Aston Villa will have too much for Everton at the moment. Villa did have a little bit of a slippery time, but they seem to be steadying the ship again.
“There will be a good atmosphere there at Goodison Park. I think we’re looking at either a 1-0 or a 2-1 win for Aston Villa.”

Villa have been flying high under Emery, with the Midlands club undoubtedly favourites going into this clash on Merseyside.
They head into the match on a two-game winning run, having defeated Burnley in the league and Middlesbrough in the FA Cup third round.
The Toffees meanwhile are out of form, with Dyche’s men without a win in their last five matches in all competitions, having drawn 0-0 with Crystal Palace in the FA Cup most recently.
In other Aston Villa news, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Villa and Leonardo Spinazzola, with a Roma exit now expected.
