Broadcaster reacts to speculation after what senior Aston Villa man did
We’re delighted to welcome Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey as our exclusive Aston Villa columnist each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the club…
There is “absolutely no chance” that the image posted by Chris Heck on social media is the new Aston Villa badge, according to Ty Bracey.
The Villa president of business operations took to Twitter on 19 December to post a picture of a crest, which included the letters A and V as well as the number 150.
After Heck simply captioned the post with the words “on brand”, that led to many Villans fans speculating as to what the image could be, with some suggesting that it may be the club’s new badge.
Bracey believes that won’t be the case, though, as he thinks that it will just be to pay tribute to the club celebrating its 150th anniversary next year.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “That definitely isn’t the badge, I can tell you that much.
“It definitely isn’t the badge. It’s some kind of tribute to 150 years, but there’s absolutely no chance that that’s the badge, no way.

“I think it’s just a logo to commemorate 150 years as opposed to a badge.
“As far as I’m aware, the badge unveiling is early next year I think.”
