Broadcaster would welcome three Aston Villa player exits in January, ‘It’s wages off the books’
We’re delighted to welcome Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey as our exclusive Aston Villa columnist each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the club…
Ty Bracey would welcome the exits of three Aston Villa players in the January transfer window after a development has emerged.
The Athletic journalist David Ornstein reported on 21 December that Villa are likely to try and move on Leander Dendoncker, Calum Chambers and Bertrand Traore next month.
The trio have seen their opportunities reduced at Villa Park during this campaign as Unai Emery’s side look to compete for a place in the Champions League next season.

Bracey believes selling those fringe players would free up wages and allow the Spaniard the chance to bring in more players that could fit into his system.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “They are just depth players as it stands.
“They get minutes here and there and help out when we’re struggling numbers-wise.

“I wouldn’t be against any of them leaving, it’s wages off the books and it’s room for more potential players who Emery wants to join his system.
“So I would have no qualms with any of those three going if I’m honest.”
