Alex Moreno gives Unai Emery headache after 86% Aston Villa display v Brentford
Aston Villa continued their rampant run under Unai Emery with a 2-1 win against Brentford in Sunday (17 December).
In a feisty encounter at the Gtech Community Stadium, Ben Mee saw red for the hosts, as did Boubacar Kamara for the visitors.
Keane Lewis-Potter put the home side ahead in the first half, but second half goals from Alex Moreno and Ollie Watkins turned the game on its head.

And the first Aston Villa goal scorer has now given his manager a selection headache, with Moreno in the starting XI at left-back, with Lucas Digne absent through suspension.
The latter will be available to return next time out, meaning Emery has a big decision to make regarding his first-choice left-back.
But with the busy schedule and the club competing in various competitions, it isn’t a bad problem for the man in the dugout to have.
It would, however, be very harsh to leave out Moreno for the upcoming clash with Sheffield United after his display against the Bees.

As per Sofascore, along with his goal, the defender completed 86% of his passes, had two shots on target, one shot blocked, and was accurate with three of his four long balls in a busy attacking display.
However, he was also crucial at the other end, with the left-back making one interception and four clearances, with that latter figure bettered only by Diego Carlos’s 10.
The three points on the road mean Villa are third in the Premier League table, with a home clash against the Blades up next on Friday (22 December).
In other Aston Villa news, one 17 G/A Villa star has been “unleashed” under Emery, he must be kept at Villa Park at all costs amid Premier League interest.
