Broadcaster condemns ‘silly’ incident at Aston Villa, ‘Always going to be uproar’
We’re delighted to welcome Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey as our exclusive Aston Villa columnist each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the club…
Ty Bracey believes the situation was always going to get a bit “silly” after more Legia Warsaw fans turned up for the game against Aston Villa than their team had been allocated.
46 travelling supporters were charged in the end after clashing with Police, having left officers and animals injured ahead of the Europa League match [The Guardian].
A number of the Polish club’s fans didn’t make it into Villa Park before kick-off, with goals from Moussa Diaby and Alex Moreno claiming a 2-1 victory for the Villans.

Bracey understands that a lot of the supporters are just “passionate” about their team, but he believes some of their actions were “stupid” after the trouble broke out.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “If 4,000 people turn up to a game and they’ve only got a 1,000 allocation, there’s always going to be uproar and it’s always going to get a bit silly.

“The fans are just passionate, it’s European football at the end of the day.
“But 4,000 people turning up to a game where you’ve got a 1,000 allocation is a little bit stupid.”
In other Aston Villa news, a broadcaster has shared a “scary” admission after what Richard Keys said.
