Ty Bracey reacts to Aston Villa links to Motherwell sensation Lennon Miller, ‘I’d definitely love to see…’
We’re delighted to welcome Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey as our exclusive Aston Villa columnist each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the club…
Ty Bracey would “love to see” more youngsters come through the youth setup after Aston Villa have been linked with Motherwell sensation Lennon Miller.
TEAMTALK reported on 18 November that Villa are one of a number of clubs, including Tottenham, Newcastle, Brighton, Brentford, West Ham, Rangers and Celtic, that are believed to be tracking the 17-year-old midfielder.
The Scotland U-19 international, who penned a new three-and-a-half-year deal with the SPFL side on 15 November, has already started on a number of occasions after breaking into the first team this season.

Bracey believes the Villans already have a good youth setup, but he recognises the importance of adding more quality depth to the side to ensure more players make the step up to the first team in the future.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “It’s equally as important for us to sign for the future as it is for us to sign for now really.
“Even if things don’t work out, things like making profit are also important. We always need to invest in the future, we’ve got a good youth setup and youth team.

“Adding some depth to that is just as important as adding it to the first team, so I think we should be looking in areas like that.
“We need to look to the future and get these people involved, so I’d definitely love to see some more players come through the youth setup.”
