Ty Bracey reacts to ‘unplayable’ John McGinn injury news ahead of Aston Villa clash v Tottenham
We’re delighted to welcome Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey as our exclusive Aston Villa columnist each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the club…
Ty Bracey is hoping the injury picked up by John McGinn during the international break isn’t “anything too serious” after his excellent form so far this season.
The midfielder hobbled off towards the end of Scotland’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Norway after scoring a penalty earlier on in the 3-3 draw at Hampden Park on Sunday (19 November).
Villa are hopeful that their captain will be able to shake off the knock ahead of their game against Tottenham on Sunday (26 November), where they will be looking to strike a blow to one of their rivals for the Champions League places this season.

Bracey believes the 29-year-old has been “unplayable” in recent weeks after he put in an “absolute blinder” of a performance in their 3-1 victory over Fulham on 12 November.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “He’s been massive for us. He’s really flourished under Unai Emery and he’s really important.
“Obviously, he’s the captain as well, so it’s important he’s a part of the squad and is part of what we’re doing this season.

“He’s been massive to what we’ve done so far this season and, in the last game against Fulham, he had an absolute blinder of a game.
“He’s unplayable at the minute, so I think it’s really important that he stays fit. Fingers crossed it isn’t anything too serious.”
In other Aston Villa news, a broadcaster has shared a “massive” admission after a Villa player development has emerged.
