Unai Emery has raised eyebrows in Aston Villa squad through intense analysis
Unai Emery has transformed Aston Villa through intense video analysis and a clear playing vision for his team to implement moving forward, according to Mail Sport.
The Spaniard replaced Steven Gerrard as head coach of Aston Villa and has since blasted his way through his opening two Premier League fixtures.
Emery has implemented his “favourite” tool of video analysis since joining the club, something the Villa players will have to get used to whilst he’s in charge.

“One of Emery’s favourite tools is video analysis and when they return to training after a short break, Villa’s players can anticipate plenty more time in front of the screen,” Tom Collomosse wrote for Mail Sport.
“The level of information and detail has raised eyebrows among the squad, who have nevertheless been impressed by just how much Emery knew about their individual strengths and weaknesses during their first meetings.”

Fantastic.
Emery is looking like the exact kind of coach the Villans needed to completely change their fortunes around.
Whatever Gerrard had the squad doing certainly wasn’t working and it looks like the team have responded well to Emery’s changes.
Whether this is a case of the classic new manager bounce remains to be seen, but it’s looking very promising early on for Emery and his coaching staff.
The Spaniard will have even more time to mould his squad into his true vision during the FIFA World Cup break and it’ll be interesting to see how the team emerges from the mini-stop to play.
The future is looking a lot brighter than it was a month ago when Villa looked set to be embroiled in an anxious relegation scrap under Gerrard.
It’s hard not to get too carried away with things right now, but the early signs seem to indicate that Emery is the perfect man for the job at Villa Park.
In other Aston Villa news, Unai Emery is a long-term admirer of Nacho Fernandez and wants to bring him to Aston Villa
