Chris Sutton predicts Aston Villa v Newcastle
Chris Sutton has predicted that Aston Villa will suffer their first loss of the post Steven Gerrard era against Newcastle.
After Gerrard’s sacking, Villa showed up to the races and demolished Brentford by a 4-0 scoreline.
However, the Magpies, who currently sit in fourth place, are going to be tougher to beat and Sutton does not see that happening.

He told the BBC, “Unai Emery is Aston Villa’s new manager but caretaker boss Aaron Danks will be in charge again for this game after overseeing their 4-0 win over Brentford last time out.
“This is a much tougher task for Villa. I really like the way Newcastle are shaping up under Eddie Howe – they are in the top four and with a bit more luck they could have picked up even more points and be even higher in the table.
“Prediction: 2-0.”
Tricky one
Eddie Howe has got Newcastle playing phenomenally well and it’s been tough for even the league’s best teams to beat them.
Manchester City, Liverpool, Spurs and Manchester United have all found it hard to get a good result from their games against Howe’s side.
It seems like the former Bournemouth manager has improved most if not all players at the club and everyone appears to be singing from the same hymn sheet.
However, this must not overawe Villa and they must continue playing in the search for the three points as it certainly is not impossible.
They do have an impressive array of players that are not performing to their level but that can change under the right coaching.
Emery may not be in charge but he’ll certainly have a say on what he wants from his side and we’re sure he must have already had a word with some of the people at the club.
