Chris Sutton predicts result of Aston Villa v Fulham
Chris Sutton has predicted Aston Villa to share the spoils with Fulham when they meet in the Premier League later this week.
The pressure is mounting on Steven Gerrard After a poor run of form despite some relatively decent performances, especially against Leeds, United and Chelsea.
If reports are to be believed, he is fighting for his job and the upcoming games will be of great importance for the former Liverpool captain.

Sutton predicted a 1-1 and told the BBC, “Aston Villa were decent in the first half of their defeat against Chelsea but they couldn’t build on that good start.
“The pressure is growing on Villa boss Steven Gerrard and I am not sure the fans are with him any more. In fact, it is the other way – so he needs a good result here, and that won’t be easy.
“I had an eye on Fulham against Bournemouth at the weekend and the Cottagers are a dangerous team. I am going to sit on the fence here, and go with a draw.”
Must-win.
There are no easy games in football, especially if your name is Steven Gerrard.
Against Chelsea, Villa enjoyed an unexpected win on xG, But that wasn’t enough as they failed to find the back of the net as the Blues ran away with a 2-0 victory.
The boos were audible all through the game and Gerrard has admitted that he wants to turn things around.
A loss in this game against Fulham should all but seal his fate and the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and
Thomas Tuchel have already been linked with the Villa Park hot seat.
If there was any time for the Villa attackers to click, it’s now as they’ve been underwhelming throughout the season.
Their lack of end product has resulted in the manager fighting what seems like a losing battle for his job with time running out.
