Alan Hutton believes Kortney Hause should move on from Aston Villa to find regular football
We’re delighted to welcome former Scotland defender Alan Hutton as our exclusive columnist each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Aston Villa…
Alan Hutton believes that his former Aston Villa teammate Kortney Hause should move away from the club this summer.
The former Scottish international says that while Hause is a good defender, he has fallen down the pecking order at Villa Park and he needs regular football.
Hause arrived at Villa on an initial loan deal and helped the club to promotion from the Championship and has made 32 Premier League appearances since signing permanently.

“I think they’ve got options at centre-back, with Diego Carlos coming in as well,” he exclusively told Villa News.
“It looks to be that it will be him and Tyrone Mings, they’ve got Ezri Konsa there as well so there’s different options coming through. Kortney Hause has fell down the pecking order a bit.
“I know he’s had bad injuries, but on his day he is a top defender.

“I think at this moment in time for him to play regular football, he needs to go out whether it’s on loan or on a permanent.
“So Watford, near London, that would be something he’d be willing to do and take that option up.”
About right
Hause has served Villa with distinction when he has been called upon and he deserves to finally find regular football.
His time at Villa has had its share of highlights, not least his winning goal against Manchester United last season, but he is well down the pecking order now.
On top of the trio of Carlos, Konsa and Mings, there are Calum Chambers and Josh Feeney who have impressed in pre-season.
A move to Watford would be best for Hause and Villa and he deserves his chance.
In other Aston Villa news, Frederic Guilbert could be on his way out of the club.
