View: Time for Keinan Davis to exit Aston Villa after latest transfer talks
Aston Villa have held talks with Nottingham Forest over the transfer of Keinan Davis and if so it is certainly time for the striker to leave Villa Park.
The Telegraph has reported (12 July) that Forest are in talks with Steven Gerrard’s side over the 24-year-old returning to the City Ground this summer.
Villa should not hesitate and let the striker leave the club after a frustrating couple of years for Davis.

The striker has only managed six goals in 86 appearances for Villa after coming through the youth system.
However, enjoyed a better return at Forest in the 2021/22 season scoring five goals and managing three assists for Steve Cooper’s side as they managed to secure promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.
Davis is clearly at the peak of his development having turned 24 and is clearly not going to make an impact at Villa Park any time soon.
His departure is perhaps long overdue and will allow Gerrard to more wriggle room to bring in better competition for Ollie Watkins and Danny Ings up front.
Davis has clearly found a suitable home at Forest and it will be interesting to see how the youngster fairs when featuring more regularly in the Premier League.

He has talent along with some excellent physical attributes that could’ve seen him become a really good Premier League striker.
His lack of game time at Villa has proven costly for Davis in terms of his development in recent years.
It is crucial that the 24-year-old is allowed to depart Villa Park in the coming weeks and given the chance to thrive elsewhere.
