Aston Villa ready to cash in on Mahmoud Trezeguet this summer
Aston Villa winger Trezeguet is wanted by Super Lig Champions Trabzonspor, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
With just one year left on his Villa Park deal, Steven Gerrard’s side are looking to cash in on the attacker.
He made only one Premier League appearance in the 2021/22 campaign but shined out on loan in Turkey.

The Egypt international was involved in 10 goals in 13 appearances whilst on loan for fellow Super Lig side Istanbul Basaksehir.
Trezeguet is no stranger to Turkish football have made his Villans move from Kasimpasa in 2019 after a two-year stint at the club.
Despite budgets in the Turkish topflight taking a hit, Trabzonspor are still in the hopes that they can come to an agreement with Villa for the forward.
Why not?
At the end of the day, he wouldn’t be missed at Aston Villa. Trezeguet has been a solid player for the Lions but has never really set the stage alight in England.

He was wasting away for quite a while before being sent out on loan to Turkey and that was undoubtedly the best thing to happen to him last season and maybe for the future of his career.
Surely, he would want to be back where he once played, tearing up the league rather than sitting on the bench for the Lions.
His attacking return was excellent during his half a season spell in the Super Lig which will likely wet his lips for more action out there.
With Trabzonspor the side in for him, it might be very difficult to turn down the reigning champions.
This move would make necessary room in Gerrard’s squad amid the mass rebuild.
In other Aston Villa news, the Lions receive a response after contact was made with Tammy Abraham’s team for a potential move.
