Aston Villa will listen to offers for four senior players this window – report
Aston Villa are ploughing on with their summer transformation as they are now looking to move on at least four players, according to The Times.
Steven Gerrard has already secured four permanent signings in this transfer window with Boubacar Kamara and Diego Carlos joining Philippe Coutinho and Robin Olsen in putting pen to paper at Villa Park.
But with so many incomings, there has to be some that go the other way and four senior players are on the chopping block.

Morgan Sanson, Bertrand Traore and Trezeguet are three players who the club will be happy to listen to offers for along with Dutch winger Anwar El Ghazi who spent the second half of the 2021-22 season on loan at Everton.
Another player Gerrard was hoping to bring to the Midlands was his former Liverpool teammate Luis Suarez after his contract at Atletico Madrid expired but that appears to no longer be happening.
Deadwood
Every club in every league in the world has summers like we are having right now where there is so much movement it can be hard to keep track of it all.
We have needed this clearout of average players for a couple of years now and there won’t be many Villa fans all that disappointed with any of the names mentioned as heading out of the door.

Traore and El Ghazi both showed glimpses of being capable Premier League players but with the ambition of the manager and the owners, capable won’t cut it anymore.
Sanson can consider himself hard done by having not really had the chance to play a sustained number of games in a row and properly strut his stuff but if he really was a top-quality player, he would have forced his way into the side.
If all four players leave, it should give us plenty of cash in our pocket to go out and spend big towards the end of the window and send a statement to the rest of the Premier League.
