Juventus consider summer transfer for Aston Villa star Emi Martinez – report
Juventus are considering a big summer transfer for Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez, according to TyC Sports.
The online outlet have reported on their website that the Italian giants have been watching the South American for quite some time.
Now it is revealed that Massimiliano Allegri has requested the signing of Steven Gerrard’s star man in the months to come.

Martinez already has eyes on the World Cup at the end of this year and looks set to start for Argentina.
That could be put to the back of his thinking though should Juventus come calling for a major transfer.
Despite signing a new long-term contract at Villa Park, this report insists that Martinez would leave should a big offer come in.
Martinez is seen as the replacement for Wojciech Szczesny, who has not been convincing since replacing Gianluigi Buffon all those years ago.
If the club are serious about progressing and really pushing for consistent European football and silverware, this needs to be avoided.

You need to keep your big-name players and build around them at a certain point, rather than consistently selling and replacing them.
Consistency is huge, Gerrard will know that and that is why new contracts are handed out to players such as Martinez.
Thankfully, Juventus aren’t exactly the power they once were in recent years, and have been well below par in Seria A.
Martinez is key between the sticks, and the club certainly wouldn’t be forgiven should they let him leave this early into his latest deal.
In other Aston Villa news, the Villans might have to pay £40million to sign Yves Bissouma from Brighton.
