Youri Tielemans exit 'expected' as Aston Villa line up Gabriel Sara deal

Youri Tielemans could be on his way out of Aston Villa this summer.

With another campaign of Champions League football to look forward to, Villa will be aware of the need to add some more quality to their squad where possible.

Sara has been linked with a move to Villa Park, as well as several other Premier League clubs, having impressed for Galatasaray this season.

The Brazilian midfielder has been the creative spark for the Turkish outfit ever since he moved there from Norwich, with a move to Villa now on the cards.

However, reports abroad suggest that Tielemans could leave as part of a deal, despite a previous admission.

A report from Evren Goz, as quoted by Sporx, states that the Villans have already made an offer to sign Sara ahead of the summer window.

It's claimed they are "serious" about a deal, which makes plenty of sense given the quality he has showcased this season.

However, the same report also mentions that Galatasaray "might be expecting" Tielemans in return.

The Belgian has previously claimed that he would never want to play his football in Turkey, making the deal seem highly unlikely.

With that said, it may be one to keep an eye on.

Tielemans contract situation examined

The 29-year-old has been vital for Villa this season, and the likelihood is that he will repeat that importance next season.

He will have two years left on his deal come the summer, meaning that the Villans will be under no immediate pressure to sell him.

With another European campaign ahead and the desire for even more progression domestically, Villa will not want to lose one of their key players.

And certainly not to sanction a move for a midfielder who has yet to showcase his worth in the Premier League.
