Three replacements Aston Villa could sign as £117m Morgan Rogers to Chelsea agreement reached
Aston Villa will shortly begin trying to find a replacement for Morgan Rogers.
There has been speculation over the England star's future all summer, and it seems like it has now been decided.
It was widely expected that he would leave Villa Park, and that is set to accelerate in the coming days.
Aston Villa News has constantly provided the latest updates on Rogers' future at Villa.
Now, he looks set to move to Chelsea in a £117million move, as an agreement has been reported by The Athletic.
That will leave the Villans scrambling to bring in a new left winger player before the season kicks off.
Ibrahim Mbaye could be Unai Emery's next project
Paris Saint-Germain attacker Ibrahim Mbaye is one player mentioned in David Ornstein's report.
The 18-year-old has 42 total appearances for the Parisians, with four goals and four assists in his senior career so far.
It would be a project for Unai Emery's side, as he is clearly not the finished article at the moment.
That worked out with the 23-year-old though, so they may not mind taking a risk and strengthening in other areas.
Crysencio Summerville's name has already been mentioned
Crysencio Summerville is another name that the report names as a target, and that would appeal more to supporters.
He has proven quality in the Premier League from his time with West Ham and Leeds United.
However, his returns in front of goal do not exactly inspire confidence, with 10 goals and eight assists in 84 matches.
However, that may improve with a better supporting cast around him, which would be the case with the B6 side.
Anis Hadj Moussa represents an outside option for Villa
Anis Hadj Moussa of Feyenoord is another who has already been linked with Villa
He is a right-winger but has already played on the left a couple of times in his career.
Moussa has notched 20 goals and 12 in 74 Eredivisie matches since joining Vitesse Arnhem and then the Rotterdam outfit.
Whether he could bring that kind of contribution to English football remains to be seen, and it would be a risk.
He is valued at around £30.1million by the Dutch side, so it would represent a cheap deal, leaving funds to be spread around the squad for improvement.
