Meet Allan, the Palmeiras star Aston Villa want to sign for £25m
Aston Villa have showcased a keen interest in Allan at Palmeiras.
A winger is high on the shopping list at Villa Park as Unai Emery looks to improve his squad.
Alejandro Garnacho has already come in, but that hasn't stopped the Villans from searching for other fresh faces.
That has once again taken their search to Brazil just as they did in January.
Alysson came in from Gremio during the winter and could soon be joined by a fellow countryman.
Allan has been central to a bid as we look at who the Palmeiras man is.
How have Palmeiras responded to Allan offer?
With Garnacho coming in to bolster the left-flank, someone on the opposite side wouldn't go amiss.
It doesn't appear that the B6 side are wasting any time to find another new winger option.
That has seen a report emerge from ESPN Brazil suggesting that Villa have bid around £25million for Allan.
The proposed deal for the 22-year-old would be structured as £21m upfront with £4m in future add-ons.
That hasn't gone down well with the Serie A outfit, who turned down the offer without a second thought.
The 2004-born forward isn't for sale after bids were previously rejected from Newcastle United and Zenit.
Villa clearly rate the Brazilian, but why do they want Allan?
What have Aston Villa seen from Allan?
The attacker joined Palmeiras in 2019 after linking up with their academy sides from his hometown club, Figueirense.
He went on to make his senior debut six years later after coming on as a substitute in a January 2025 win over Portuguesa
Allan has proven to be a regular ever since, featuring 88 times for Alviverde.
Having contributed to 16 goals in the past two seasons, he has caught the eye.
Throughout the last campaign, he put up an average of 2.87 completed dribbles and 1.18 chances created per 90.
Those are his biggest strength, although he is also known for being able to put a tackle in going the other way.
That could make him a perfect option for Emery to shape and mould in claret and blue.
It appears that a new offer will be required to make a deal happen, but he seems like the kind of winger option that could be useful in B6.
