Luka Lynch Aston Villa exit latest as late-night deal sheet submitted
Aston Villa have lined up a last-minute exit for Luka Lynch.
The 19-year-old joined Aston Villa from local rivals West Brom aged 14, and signed scholarship terms in the summer of 2023.
He turned professional with the Villains later that year, before signing a new deal in February 2025.
A versatile winger, Lynch has been starring in Villa's academy recently, but is yet to make his first-team debut.
But with competition for places in Unai Emery's side fierce, sourcing some regular senior football for him could be a shrewd move.

Who is Luka Lynch awaiting Aston Villa green light to join?
There is often no better learning experience for a young Premier League talent than a loan move to the English Football League (EFL).
Whether it be as part of a promotion push, mid-table nothingness or in a relegation battle, there's always something to be learned.
Indeed, Villa sent out youngsters Bradley Burrowes and Joshua Feeney on loan to Wigan and Peterborough on deadline day.
Lynch currently doesn't have any experience of senior football under his belt, but that's set to chance even after Tuesday's 11pm deadline passed.
As reported by Aston Villa writer for The Athletic Jacob Tanswell, Oxford United were trying to finalise a loan deal for Lynch on Tuesday night.
At 11:12pm, Tanswell revealed that a deal sheet had been submitted in order to give both Villa and Oxford an additional hour to finalise the move.
Finally, at 11:49pm, Tanswell again updated the story by claiming that an official announcement that the deal has gone through is expected on Wednesday.
So, how well did Lynch do in Villa's academy last season, and what sort of challenge will Oxford present him with?
Why Lynch has proven he's ready for senior test
Lynch turned out 11 times for Villa's Under-21s in Premier League 2 last season.
He scored four goals and provided two assists from those games, suggesting he's perhaps starting to outgrow academy football.
Oxford were relegated from the Championship to League One last season, and so the U's will hope to have a promotion push in mind this term.
They've had a mixed start to their campaign though, winning, drawing and losing one from their opening three games.
Lynch will have to work to earn a significant role under Aaron Ramsey, and it will be fascinating to see how he gets on in his first taste of senior football.
