Aston Villa Women star Alisha Lehmann has been spotted in Turin ahead of medical tests before a move to Juventus, according to Mauro Munno.

The Italian reporter has shared a video (5 July) of the Switzerland international arriving ahead of a transfer to the Serie A Femminile side.

The 25-year-old was met by Juventus officials and now looks set to undergo medical tests before being announced as a new signing.

Alisha Lehmann to leave Aston Villa for Juventus

The Villa winger now looks set to be departing Villa Park in a deal to join partner, Douglas Luiz in Italy after his move was confirmed.

Villa were forced into selling the Brazilian this summer and it had been reported that Lehmann would be included in any negotiations [il Bianco Nero].

That part of the deal had appeared to have gone quiet but now "the wait is over" after the 25-year-old was spotted arriving for a medical.

With Robert de Pauw taking charge as the new manager of Villa Women in the past week, it may be disappointing to lose one of his stars so soon.

The Dutchman won't have had any say on this deal given that it appears to have played a part in the Luiz transfer to the men's team.

Although it will be frustrating to lose Lehmann, there is no doubt that she should be replaceable for the Villans this summer.

After a season where she scored just two goals in 15 Women's Super League appearances [FotMob], a new signing could fill the void in the new campaign.
