Aston Villa remain on the hunt to seal a front-of-shirt sponsor for next season.

When the new Premier League campaign begins, there will be no betting companies involved with any team's front-of-shirt sponsor.

That will mark a change for 11 of the 20 teams in the division, with the Villa Park outfit among those seeking a new agreement.

Betano have occupied Villa's shirts for two seasons, but with Klutch Sports Group, the agency for NBA star LeBron James, involved, the search for a new deal has already begun.

Aston Villa could look to Coca-Cola for their next arrangement, with social media activity already showing a relationship between the two parties.

The Villans have recently recorded profits for the year ending June 2025, with the Champions League playing a large role in revenues.

Their current sponsorship with Betano has also played a role, with Villa sitting sixth in the entire league for that deal.

That deal has to end in the summer, but the claret and blue outfit will eye fresh terms at the same level, if not higher.

Questions have been raised about who could take up the front-of-shirt space, with various names put forward by supporters.

Coca-Cola is one of those, and speculation has certainly taken a step up after Villa shared a post on Wednesday featuring the caption "#RefreshingMoments", a handshake emoji and the soft drink giant's logo.

The video included in the post is a reminder of three years ago, when Ollie Watkins and John McGinn scored in an excellent win away to Chelsea.

That in itself has nothing to do with Coca-Cola, but the sponsored post could represent the first steps towards being a front-of-shirt sponsor in B6.

Xapo Bank has also been mooted as an option for Villa, but bringing in a worldwide brand like the £250billion-valued conglomerate would be massive.

Coca-Cola could return to football sponsorship at Villa Park

The Atlanta, Georgia-based company have taken a step back from football shirt sponsorships over the years after being famed for previous deals with Club America, Gremio and even Brazil.

They now operate mainly as partners to clubs, with their products sold in stadiums across England.

That changed in 2024, when Coca-Cola were named the Global Training Kit sponsor of Napoli, featuring on T-shirts, sleeveless tops, training tops, and windbreakers in Naples.

That could open the door for the Villans to step in and secure a new agreement of their own to make the global brand their front-of-shirt sponsor.

There will be plenty of discussions about deals with various companies, but Coca-Cola could prove massively lucrative in B6.
