Alejandro Garnacho has taken the transfer window by storm, fueling a move from Manchester United to Aston Villa.

After the Europa League final, Garnacho hit back at Ruben Amorim's decision to drop him, having played just 19 minutes.

Garnacho's outburst opened the door to a potential Old Trafford exit, with his manager unimpressed with the Argentine's reaction.

Now, the odds of the winger joining Villa have shortened after he was pictured wearing the famous claret and blue.

Aston Villa more likely to sign Garnacho after Marcus Rashford incident

Given that the 20-year-old has been ordered to find a new club by Amorim, his actions feel calculated.

Wearing a rival team's shirt is never going to go down well with supporters, especially when they are a league rival.

Furthermore, the fact that he donned a shirt with Rashford's name on the back is significant.

Amorim exiled Rashford at United, and clearly, Garnacho is siding with him, another player who has been told to leave.

Now, Betfred (23 June) are offering odds of 6/1 for Garnacho to sign for Villa, and they have shortened.

Would Garnacho be a good signing for Unai Emery?

While talk of Garnacho's future is likely to dominate the transfer window, would he find a place in Emery's side?

The Villans have already lost Marco Asensio and Rashford as they return to Paris Saint-Germain and United following their loans.

Elsewhere, Leon Bailey is primed to leave Villa Park amid talk of a potential move to Saudi Arabia.

As it stands, Jacob Ramsey is the only left-sided winger Emery has at his disposal, meaning there is space for Garnacho.

The 20-year-old could also play on the right, although Donyell Malen will be pushing to start in that position, with the door open.

Garnacho to Villa is one to keep an eye on, and a move to the West Midlands is looking increasingly likely with each passing day.
