Aston Villa are looking ahead to their Super Cup meeting with PSG on Wednesday.

The Villans are coming off the back of back-to-back wins on their asia tour against Indonesia XI and BG Pathum United.

Unai Emery can take positives from those results, although the level of opposition has come under questioning from fans.

The Asia tour will be finalised before the weekend is out as Bayern Munich await in Hong Kong.

That will be a true test of where the B6 outfit are out ahead of their first competitive outing of the season against PSG.

It may prove to be an ideal time to face the Parisians if their latest friendly outing is anything to go by.

They summed up their struggles by racking up 509 accurate passes to Mallorca's 349, but still fell to a comfortable loss.

That will be music to Emery's ears as he prepares to face his old side and has the perfect amount of time to plan.

How Aston Villa can secure victory vs PSG

Everyone from Bodymoor Heath will have had an eye on PSG and their defeat at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.

Losing 3-0 to a side that now finds themselves in LaLiga 2 after relegation isn't a good look.

There were plenty of youngsters starting, but the Villans can still delve into the performances of first-team names.
