Jhon Duran will have questions to answer to Unai Emery at half time after missing multiple chances for Aston Villa against Wycombe Wanderers.

The Villans struggled in the opening 45 minutes against the Chairboys with the home side having the better of the chances throughout.

Emery's men haven't been without their own opportunities but have failed to capitalise against the defensively sound League One side.

Duran had the best of the chances for Villa but failed to make them count on his starting chance.

The Colombia international had an excellent chance, just seconds into the clash but poked it wide of the far post.

This theme was continued throughout the half as he had another two efforts which failed to hit the target which saw him maintain a zero per cent accuracy rate [FotMob].

His passing was also nothing to shout about as he kept up a 60 per cent success rate with just three passes completed across the opening 45 minutes.

The 20-year-old also failed to get involved defensively with just one defensive action as Wycombe excelled going forward.

Duran also lost all three of his duels in the first half which just isn't good enough up against League One opposition.

Emery has to consider whether to bring on Ollie Watkins or maintain his faith in the super sub who has started the Premier League season in electric form.
