Jaden Philogene will want to feature more regularly for Aston Villa after his goal in the preseason win against Athletic Bilbao.

Unai Emery brought the young winger on at halftime at the Bescot Stadium and was able to make a positive impact off the bench.

Philogene picked up great positions throughout his cameo and this was certainly the case for the goal as he ghosted between defenders to create plenty of space for himself.

This allowed the 22-year-old to get into an area where he could cooly open up his body and convert well past the helpless Alex Padilla in goal.

This was the perfect moment for the returning wideman who will be looking to continue these goalscoring exploits.

With just one friendly remaining against Borussia Dortmund until Emery's side kicks off their Premier League campaign, Philogene will be keen to make a point to be starting.

The former Hull man will bring skill, pace and directness to the Spaniard's squad which could cause problems against West Ham on the opening day.
