Fulham are looking to cause an upset of sorts on Saturday, as they welcome Aston Villa to Craven Cottage.

Unai Emery's side find themselves in need of six points, with 15 left to play for, as they vie for a return to the Champions League.

Since returning from the international break, the Villans have been close to flawless, with a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest the only time that they have missed out on a win.

However, the B6 outfit got back to winning ways in the league on Sunday, with a vital 4-3 win against Sunderland to stretch the gap to the Champions League chasers.

Looking to enter the run-in on a high, Villa take on a Fulham side with their own European ambitions, with Marco Silva's side sitting 12th, three points away from the continental spots.

How to watch Fulham vs Aston Villa

After a poor run throughout February and early March, Villa got back to winning ways on the eve of the recent international break, beating West Ham 2-0 on home soil.

Back on home soil for the first time since then as they took on Sunderland, striker Tammy Abraham would net a late winner in front of the Holte End, sending Villa Park into raptures amid the race for Europe.

Aston Villa can't slow down just yet amid Champions League chase

Needing just six points out of 15, Emery's side are within touching distance of reaching their ultimate goal, to return to the Champions League.

Though they cannot slow down just yet, with the run-in coinciding with the latter stages of the Europa League - a competition in which the Villans are firm favourites.

Since taking the job in 2022, Emery has remained professional throughout and is unlikely to favour one competition over the other, while his own European record speaks for itself.

He will know better than anyone that Villa simply cannot slow down, despite their end goal being in sight.

With eight more matches to potentially play, the Midlanders will be looking to carry the momentum from each one into the next - this starts against Fulham on Saturday, where the Villans must keep up their recent form.
