Aston Villa reach agreement for new transfer as decision backed

Aston Villa are doing the right thing to build up Yeimar Mosquera's physicality to get him Premier League ready by loaning him out, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the club will also be looking at where there are fitness gaps in the Colombian's centre-back's current levels and what can be done to get him to a level where he can be considered for the first team.

This comes after the Athletic reported on 27 August that Villa have reached an agreement with Orsomarso SC to sign the 19-year-old and they plan to loan him out to Real Union until the end of the season.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News:

"Villa will have to figure out where his fitness gaps are between his current levels and what’s required for the Premier League and then bridge those gaps through progressive, methodical training.

"Going out on loan would certainly be one way of doing that and he’ll certainly be monitored thoroughly by the club.

"I reckon that’s the right way to go about things amid reports of a Real Union loan move."
