Morgan Rogers beyond compare at Aston Villa in 'magical' admission after contract development
Ty Bracey can't compare Morgan Rogers to anyone else in modern football after he signed a new contract at Aston Villa.
The Villans announced on Tuesday 19 November that the 22-year-old has penned a deal to keep him in B6 until 2023 after a stellar start to the season [avfc.co.uk].
The attacking midfielder has been a phenomenon at Villa Park since joining in a surprise move from Middlesbrough last January.
Villa podcaster Bracey, who features on the Villa Social, was delighted by the news and believes his ability on the ball is unlike any other player.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: "His ball carrying is a unique feature.
"It is something that is magical to watch, watching him glide past players so easily when the ball is at his feet.
"It is difficult to compare him to anyone else because, in modern football, there aren't many ball carriers. Morgan Rogers is given the freedom to travel around the pitch and he does it so well.
"I'm delighted to tie him down for the long term and hopefully for many years, we get to see his brilliance.
"He's definitely not at his ceiling yet and in the grand scheme of things, the progress he's made under Unai Emery has been outstanding. I'm just over the moon."

There is no doubt that the ex-Manchester City youngster has been one of the Villans' best and most important players this season.
This has come as a surprise given that the versatile forward came in from the Championship in a deal worth an initial £8million [Sky Sports].
Unai Emery found himself a diamond in the rough and has uncovered a gem who has become a full England international which was no less than he deserved.
Villa fans will be hopeful that Rogers can maintain this form and continue to get better after signing this new deal.
