Kevin De Bruyne is expected to favour a move to Aston Villa after leaving Manchester City.

Unai Emery has pushed Aston Villa forward since he arrived in the West Midlands.

Therefore, Villa have been able to attract more high-profile players to the club, such as Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, and it looks as though they're ready to take things up a level by signing De Bruyne.

De Bruyne 'to turn down Saudi Arabia move to join Aston Villa'

Ex-Villa scout Bryan King - speaking exclusively to Villa News - previously suggested Villa could offer De Bruyne a contract worth £50million, and has now claimed that the Belgian would turn down interest from elsewhere to continue in the Premier League.

“I don't think the wages would be an issue, because there wouldn't be a transfer fee involved," King said.

"In all honesty, De Bruyne would be well-paid, whatever club he goes to. I'd imagine he is pretty settled where he is, and his family are happy living where they're living.

"Therefore, he might receive an astronomical offer to join a club in Saudi Arabia. However, I imagine he would think that he still has a chance to play in the Premier League, so why not do it for Villa?"
