Aston Villa agree long-term contract after what Unai Emery did after Villa Park arrival
Dan Bardell believes Unai Emery likes Kadan Young and is there reason why Aston Villa offered him a new long-term contract.
The Villans announced that a deal had been signed via their official website on Wednesday 18 September as the 18-year-old has committed his future to Villa Park.
The youngster has been named on the bench in recent Premier League and Champions League clashes with his ability clearly rated highly.
Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist Bardell thinks that this contract offer will be down to the Villa manager and how much he likes the forward.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bardell said: "Obviously you're allowed 12 subs in the Champions League and we've seen him on the bench in the Premier League as well.
"He's an interesting one because he's had injuries but when Emery first game in, he put him in amongst the first team straight away.
"He's got a long term future at the club and he's someone that Emery likes so I completely understand why they've tied him down."

The club has undergone a complete transformation ever since Emery came in through the doors at Villa Park in November 2022.
This has seen results on the pitch sky rocket which now sees the Villans in the Champions League and fighting at the top end of the Premier League.
Off the pitch, things have been playing catch up but the youth academy is one thing that has been utilised well.
The likes of Kane Taylor and Owen Asemota have come in while Young has been offered a new deal.
The winger has been a regular fixture on the bench at the beginning of the season in B6 but is yet to make his first team debut.
That is likely to be coming soon, especially after signing this new deal which Emery is likely to be very pleased with.
