Aston Villa: Where to watch Europa League final as The Warehouse sells out

Aston Villa have reached the Europa League final, and not everyone can get to Istanbul, so here are some viewing party alternatives.

The Villans have caused a stir in the aftermath of the Nottingham Forest victory by controversially refusing to open Villa Park for the final.

Big screens won’t feature inside the B6 ground, even after Tottenham’s success last year in doing exactly that in North London.

Instead, The Warehouse is open to show the game to around 3000 fans, which obviously sold out within an instant after a bizarrely secretive ticket release.

Everyone associated with Villa will want to watch the clash with Freiburg, and there are other options if you didn’t get a ticket for the fan zone at Villa Park.

Where can I watch Aston Villa vs Freiburg in the Europa League final?

There was so much to love about the 4-0 victory against Forest that has certainly whetted the appetite ahead of the final in Istanbul.

With such limited ticket availability at the Tupras Stadium, only a small portion of supporters will actually be in attendance to watch the claret and blue outfit.

That will leave many fans at home, looking for places to watch their side potentially lift their first major honour since 1996.

With The Warehouse selling out almost instantly and The Witton Arms going through something very similar, there are other options available.

Luna Springs – Digbeth

There will be a fan park within walking distance of the city centre, with Luna Springs hosting an event featuring giant screens and loudspeakers to simulate a true matchday experience for 18+ only.

There is set to be thousands of fans in attendance, with early bird and second release tickets already sold out at this stage.

At the time of writing, “last chance” tickets are still available for general admission, which would secure guaranteed entry to the event while standing.

That comes in at £20 and a £2.03 booking fee; it is certainly more expensive than The Warehouse’s £5, but it is an option.

O2 Institute – Digbeth

The reportedly “biggest Europa League final fanzone” is being advertised by the O2 Institute, which is also preparing to host over 1000 fans.

Another 18+ only event, but one that is currently on the first release ticket phase at a cost of £15.00 plus a £1.65 booking fee.

That price will only increase as time goes on, with the second release coming in at £22.25 and the final release costing £27.75 total.

The other option is to pay £33.25 for a “VIP Balcony ticket”, although it is unclear exactly what that added cost gives you.

TOCA Social – The Bullring (Family friendly)

If you are looking to attend a watch party with children, then TOCA Social may prove to be the best destination for you.

The Bullring location is opening to show the Europa League final with seated tickets on sale, with the vast majority already sold out.

There are only “extra allocation” tickets available at the time of writing, costing £18 plus a £2.03 booking fee per person.

The price is the same for adults and children, with only three children allowed per adult in attendance.

BOXPARK – Shoreditch

If you are unable to make it to Birmingham for the final, there are options to watch the game from further afield.

BOXPARK Shoreditch is one option, with tickets currently on sale for £10 plus a £1.52 booking fee, which comes with one drink included.

Ticket priceTerms and conditions
£11.52-Last guaranteed entry for ticket holders is 7pm

-Seats are unreserved and on a first-come, first-served basis

-Each ticket allows entry for 1 person, which includes 1x drink token to be used on the day only

This is another 18+ event, but is just another example of the many options in Birmingham and beyond to watch Aston Villa in a Europa League final.
