Harvey Elliott has not had much success in his loan spell at Aston Villa so far.

Villa signed Elliott on loan from Liverpool on transfer deadline day, with a widely reported £35million obligation to purchase the 22-year-old if he makes more than 10 appearances.

However, Elliott has been unable to win Unai Emery's trust and therefore a place in the team at the moment, with just five appearances to his name, mostly from the bench.

Elliott looked like a smart piece of business from Monchi, before he left his post, but that has not proved to be the case.

Elliott nowhere to be seen in Aston Villa loss to Go Ahead Eagles

Elliott was expected to feature in Villa's Europa League clash with Go Ahead Eagles on 23 October, but he was not handed an opportunity by Emery.

The Villans needed a goal, but the Reds loanee was left on the bench, with the likes of Morgan Rogers, Donyell Malen and John McGinn brought on instead of him.

Elliott has featured for just 174 minutes in all competitions since making the move to the B6 outfit, and it seems as though, he will struggle to impress the Spaniard.

Liverpool fans want Harvey Elliott to be recalled

It is safe to say that Liverpool supporters are not happy with Elliott's lack of game time.

Reds fans want their starboy to return to Anfield, rather than completing the permanent move to the Villans after the way that he has been treated so far.
