Arsenal told to sign Morgan Rogers instead of Real Madrid star after £85m news
Arsenal have been urged to make a summer swoop for Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers.
The Villans are without Champions League football for the upcoming season, so Unai Emery and Co. face a challenge to keep hold of their best players.
On the flip side, Mikel Arteta’s side are coming into the transfer window on the hunt for players to help them towards a Premier League title after consecutive second-place finishes.
This has seen the Gunners linked with various top stars, with Rogers emerging as a potential signing over a Real Madrid ace this summer.

Arsenal urged to make Rogers signing
Villa could find themselves in a perilous position if Nasef Sawiris can’t find a solution to the PSR problems surrounding the B6 club.
As a result, it is little surprise to see elite sides showcasing an interest in the best that the claret and blue outfit has to offer.
Rogers was one of the best players under Emery last season, showcasing a wide range of star talent in his first full season of Premier League action.
This saw the 22-year-old contribute to over 25 goals, earning himself a call-up to the senior England squad for his troubles.
It is fair to say that this form hasn’t gone unnoticed, with the Villans potentially set to hold out for upwards of £85million for his signature.
This has seen Gunners legend Ray Parlour urge his former side to sign Rogers ahead of Real Madrid star Rodrygo on talkSPORT (6 June).
He said: “I think he’s got so much potential, I’d pay the money to get him. At 22 years old, he’s got everything going for him, he’s only going to get better.
“Mikel [Arteta] can teach him, he can play number 10, he can play wide, he can play everywhere, can’t he? He’d score you goals as well, so I’d buy him.”
Co-host Katie Shanahan cut in to question, “For £85m?”
Parlour returned: “I’d rather have him than Rodrygo. I think he’s got everything going for him, he’s in the England squad now as well. Very good player.”

Rogers is priceless to Aston Villa right now
There is no doubt that the England international is a personal favourite of Emery after featuring across 3100 minutes of Premier League action.
Although his form may have dropped towards the end of the season, that is fair given his output in what is his true breakout season at the top level.
| Stat | Morgan Rogers |
| Appearances | 54 |
| Goals | 14 |
| Assists | 13 |
As a result, losing the ex-Manchester City man to Arsenal would be a waste of any growth he has made in claret and blue this season.
Having already lost Jhon Duran in the winter window, losing further young talent would prove to be a huge blow coming into the new Premier League campaign.
