Bryan King has insisted that Unai Emery will be happy to have Emi Buendia back available for Aston Villa ahead of the new season.

The ex-Villa scout admitted that with a big season coming up in the Premier League and Champions League, Emery will need every player ready for him.

Buendia was described as "Fantastic" by Emery as he made his return in the pre-season defeat against Columbus Crew

"It's always going to be a boost for a club like Aston Villa," he exclusively told Villa News.

"They've got a big season coming up, Champions League, so you need all of the quality you can have in the club.

"If he is going to be fit, I'm sure that Emery will be happy with him as a squad player, that is for sure."
