Ty Bracey shares 'massive' prediction for John McGinn at Aston Villa
We’re delighted to welcome Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey as our exclusive Aston Villa columnist each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at the club…
John McGinn will have his best-ever season in an Aston Villa shirt under Unai Emery, according to Ty Bracey.
With an influx of elite-level talent coming into the club, including Moussa Diaby, Pau Torres and Youri Tielemans, Aston Villa fans will be expecting the club to have a season to remember. But despite this injection of top talent, the club’s longest-serving player, John McGinn, will remain an influential figure.
McGinn knows how far the club has come, having been there during their eventful recent history, including promotion, near relegation and four different managers. Having joined in 2018, the Scotsman now finds himself captain as he leads Villa into their first season in Europe for 13 years.
Bracey claims that the 28-year-old is set to have his greatest season for the Villans, helped by the guidance of Unai Emery and the progression of the squad.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “I think he’ll be a massive player for us. Obviously, he’s the club captain for a reason.
“He’s going to have a great season under Emery. I think this is one where we really see him flourish.
“I think we’ll see the best of John McGinn this season.”
In other Aston Villa news, Dan Bardell has predicted a “perfect” partnership to form at Villa Park in the upcoming season.
